and the winner of wine-of-the-year is….

I have debated this long and hard. There were two top contenders and it was a very close race.

On the one hand, we had a wine that was much loved, a new discovery and got a lot of public feedback via the newspaper column.

On the other we had a wine that had our wine club literally yelling at the top of their lungs. That has never happened in all the years we have been getting together to sample wine.

In the end I had to go with the one that was the biggest discovery and that I have bought the most often since. I’ll continue to buy it again and again. I’ll gift it and recommend it. And you can gift it, too!

If you have any last-minute Christmas shopping or hostess gifts left to get you can solve all your problems with $20.

Wine of the year is the Chocolate Wine!!

I have tried two brands and both are nice. I have never had a complaint from anyone I served it to and everyone who tries it for the first time is just wide eyed!!

The best part. One doesn’t even have to like wine in order to drink this stuff! If you like Bailey’s you’ll like chocolate wine! And at $20 it’s easier on the wallet than Bailey’s!

Really, if I was recommending a wine to buy for a gift this month it would be the chocolate stuff.

Ta Da!!!

Wanna know the runner up? That’s tomorrow!

Which chocolate wine do you think is the best one? I want to give a bottle as a gift.
