The Bartier Bros. 2016 Syrah was $30 at the BCLC Store. It was lighter bodied than I expected but smooth and had lots of bold flavour. The tasting notes indicate it has an iodine flavour. I’m not sure I got that. There was nothing that knocked this wine out of the park for me.
I think this wine would be better in a few years. It got a 3/6 from me. Save your dough…
